The Pace fixed route system includes more than 230 bus routes throughout Pace’s service area. All buses are accessible and feature bicycle racks. Passengers aged 65 or older that have registered with the RTA can ride the Pace transit fixed route service for free. Other passengers who ride frequently can save money by purchasing monthly Ventra passes and ride tickets from the Pace online store.

Pace Bus routes serving SSC’s Main Campus and Oak Forest Center:

  1. Route 348 – Harvey – Riverdale – Blue Island: weekday/Saturday service between Metro South Medical Center and the Harvey Transportation Center; serves Calumet Park, Blue Island, Riverdale, Dolton, Phoenix, South Holland, and Harvey.
  2. Route 350 – Sibley: daily cross-town service between Morton & Willow Court and the Harvey Transportation Center; also serves the 147th Street Metra Station and Thornridge High School.
  3. Route 364 – 159th Street: daily service from Morton & Willow Court to Orland Square Mall; serves River Oaks Shopping Center, Oak Forest, St. Margaret and Ingalls Memorial Hospitals, and South Suburban College.
  4. Route 354 – Harvey – Oak Forest Loop: weekday/Saturday loop service connecting Harvey, Dixmoor, Posen, Midlothian, Oak Forest, Country Club Hills, Hazel Crest, and Markham; direct service to SSC’s Oak Forest Center.
